This itinerary is designed for travellers who want to experience Egypt’s most iconic highlights with space to unwind — from the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum, to a timeless Nile cruise, ancient temples, turquoise waters, yacht days and relaxed coastal living.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

~ Your journey begins in Cairo, where our team will welcome you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel.

⟣ After check-in, take the rest of the day to settle in, relax after your flight and ease into the rhythm of Egypt.

☽ In the evening, enjoy your first dinner at a local restaurant, giving you a gentle introduction to Cairo’s atmosphere, hospitality and flavours.

Day 2: Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

⟁ After breakfast at the hotel, step into the world of ancient Egypt with a visit to the legendary Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

⟣ Standing before these timeless monuments offers a powerful introduction to Egypt’s history, mystery and scale.

⭒ Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to some of the country’s most extraordinary archaeological treasures and stories.

☽ After a full day of discovery, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Cairo to Aswan & Nile Cruise Check-in

~ After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer privately to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan.

⟣ Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at Aswan Airport before beginning your first temple experience in the south of Egypt.

⟁ Visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and set on an island surrounded by the Nile.

⟣ Afterwards, transfer to your Nile cruise, check in on board and enjoy lunch on board as the river journey begins.

Day 4: Kom Ombo, Edfu & Sail to Luxor

Day 5: Luxor East Bank

~ Wake up on the Nile and enjoy breakfast on board before stepping into the ancient world of Luxor’s East Bank.

⟁ Visit the magnificent Luxor Temple, one of Egypt’s most atmospheric ancient sites.

⟣ Continue to Karnak Temple, an extraordinary temple complex known for its scale, sacred history and monumental columns.

☽ Return to the cruise for lunch on board, leisure time and a relaxed dinner on board before overnighting in Luxor.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank to El Gouna

~ Begin the day with breakfast on board before checking out from your Nile cruise.

Day 9: El Gouna to Cairo

Is it safe to visit Egypt?

Absolutely! Egypt is a welcoming destination with measures in place to ensure the safety of visitors. With our guided tours, you'll always be accompanied by knowledgeable local guides who prioritize your safety and comfort.

Do I need a Visa?

Most visitors require a visa to enter Egypt. Depending on your nationality, you can either apply for an e-visa online before your trip or get a visa on arrival at the airport. When booking one of our guided tours, we’ll assist you with visa advice to make the process seamless.

What should I pack?

Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for the warm days and a jacket or sweater for cooler evenings, especially in winter. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for exploring historical sites. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect against the sun, as well as a reusable water bottle. For visits to mosques or conservative areas, modest clothing is recommended. Don’t forget your swimsuit for the Red Sea or hotel pools and a power adapter for Egyptian outlets! (Type C or F).
