Rooming Notes

Throughout the tour, you’ll be staying in a mix of twin and triple rooms, depending on the accommodation. You may be paired with a fellow traveler, possibly from another country, adding to the richness of the experience.

Day One

Marrakech

Arrive at Marrakech and transfer to a Riad in the old city.
Transfer and check in to a beautiful Riad in the heart of the old city.
Enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional restaurant near Jemaa el Fna

Day Two

Marrakech

Full-day guided tour of the Medina: visit Jemaa el Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Madrassa.
Optional: Free time to explore the Souks, bargain, and visit the Henna Cafe.
Optional: Enjoy Moroccan mint tea, known as “Berber whiskey.”

Day Three

High Atlas Mountains

Scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains.
Visit Ait Ben Haddou village, known for its appearance in Game of Thrones.
Explore the ancient Kasbah and enjoy lunch.
Continue through Rose Valley and arrive in Dades Valley to watch the sunset.

Day Four

Dades Valley

Stop at Monkey Toes rock formation in Dades Valley.
Visit Todra Valley and Gorges in Tinghir.
Camel ride across the Sahara dunes to your desert camp.
Spend the night in glamping tents with a bonfire and traditional Berber music.

Day Five

Erg Chebbi

Early wake-up for sunrise over the desert.
Breakfast and 4WD desert adventure
Visit nomadic families to learn about their lifestyle and enjoy traditional tea.
Explore Mifiss Mines, a ghost town that was once an active coal mine.

Day Six

Ouarzazate

Visit Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, the filming location of The Mummy, Gladiator, and more.
Drive through the High Atlas Mountains and reach Imlil village for a homestay

This tour attracts travelers from all over the world! You’ll be joining a diverse group of like-minded individuals from different countries and backgrounds, all coming together for a shared experience.

What should I pack?

lightweight, breathable clothing for the warm days and a jacket or sweater for cooler evenings, especially if you’re visiting in winter or heading to the Atlas Mountains. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for exploring medinas and desert areas. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect against the sun. Modest clothing is recommended, especially in rural areas and when visiting mosques. Don’t forget a scarf for the desert winds, a swimsuit for riad pools or coastal towns! and a universal power adapter (Type C or E).

Can I bring a suitcase on this trip?

We recommend bringing no more than 15kg for this trip, and if possible, a backpack instead of a suitcase. You won’t need to carry your luggage during daily excursions, but it will need to be transported between accommodations, so packing as lightly as possible is advised.
